A life session can last anywhere from 2 hours to 3 sittings of 2 hours each. During the first session I will take the opportunity to produce a sketch or sketches from life as well as photograph the pose and subject, which will assist greatly in the best references to complete the portrait.
Note: This procedure is often not condusive for children, so I can work entirely from photographs instead.
The type of portrait, the size of the portrait and overall plan for the portrait is discussed and planned with the client in order to insure that the portrait meets the client's desires, as well as the artist's vision.
Travel, shipping and other expenses, such as framing are not included in the price of the portrait and are the client's responsibility.
A 20% Deposit is Required to insure a place in my schedule. Portraits are delivered between 3 and 5 months months after the first meeting.
